Nextend Social Login (Free)

Nextend Social Login is a professional, easy to use and free WordPress plugin that lets your visitors to register and login to your site using their social profiles instead of forcing them to spend valuable time to fill the registration form. They don’t need to wait for validation emails or keep track of their username and password.

Installation

You can install Nextend Social Login through Plugins > Add New interface. Just search for the plugin’s name then hit Install and Activate. You can also read a detailed installation guide.

Providers

Providers are the services which the visitors can use to register and log in to your site. Before you could use them, they need to be set up.

Publish

When you want to display the login buttons, you must keep in mind that, Nextend Social Login Free only places the login buttons automatically to the /wp-login.php form and the login forms made using the wp_login_form action.
However with some work, you are able to put the login buttons to custom places or in the sidebar. Basically this can be achieved by:

Important note: Nextend Social Login Pro Addon can also place the login buttons to the WooCommerce, BuddyPress, MemberPress, UserPro, Ultimate Member, Easy Digital Downloads forms and also to the WordPress Comment forms.

You can configure the login button style and position and set a fix redirect URL after login and register.

Each provider has several Pro settings to customize the sign in experience. You can use them to ask email address or username upon registration, or disable the login for specific roles. You can learn what each setting does at the Pro Settings for Providers page.

Legacy import

Nextend Social Login took place of the Nextend Facebook Connect, Nextend Twitter Connect and Nextend Google Connect plugins. If you had these installed, you can import the settings from the legacy plugins.
